Long Day’s Journey Into Night will have a theatrical release

Almost 2 months ago I announced that the film Long Day’s Journey Into Night might never be released. We have more information. Indeed in an interview for People magazine, Jessica Lange announced that the film was finished and that it would be released in theaters.

New information on Long Day’s Journey Into Night

During an interview with Vulture, Jessica Lange (Mary Tyrone), co-star of Colin (Edmund Tyrone) said that the film Long Day’s Journey Into Night may never be released for reasons still unknown.

Sure. I feel the same way about the film we did of Long Day’s Journey Into Night. An adaptation of the play shot in Ireland with Ed Harris and Ben Foster in 2022; production halted and was restarted because of financing problems, according to the New York Times. Who knows if it will ever come out? It’s in some weird limbo. It’s not finished.

Oh, is it a rights issue? A money issue?
I don’t know what it is, exactly. Money? Differences of opinion?
